I look to see; but what? Not for that a man's eyes meet for an end. Everything is a gate. And for people -the gate is always closed and there stands a sentry who is none but the form of the thing one looks at. My eyes tiptoe to the thing and enter into a silent zone around. Slowly my look vanishes. I get rid of my eyes when I find all of a sudden that the thing I have sought for a look is neither near nor far. It stands as someone's muse. Whose? I know not.. There is no existence of space and the time is debarred from the Eternity.

It was in the middle of Ninties the photo was taken. From the left: Sachinda ( S.N. Chatterjee ). Tirthankar and Amarda (A. H. Ganguly). The photo was taken in the house where Nishikanta lived with his sister Aparna (Aparnadi).Presenly the house does not belong to Sri Aurobindo Ashram. The house is in a very poos condition now.

Dream of white marble
The beautiful memorial building lies in the midst of Pondicherry park. The photo was taken many years ago before the modernisation of the park. I love this building.
